Translation of Transcripts for Official Use

We also offer translation of transcripts for the purpose of transferring credit from a Spanish-language institution to an English-language institution.

Each university or school has slightly different requirements for submissions of international transcripts. When you make a request for a translation of a transcript, be aware that you may need multiple sealed copies of your transcript issued from your educational institution. When you contact us for a translation, be sure to include this information:

  1. The institution you are sending your transcript to
  2. The deadline you have for translation
    • If the institution needs to receive the transcript in less than 14 days, you will need to pay a rush fee

Contact us before actually sending your transcript by mail, to make sure we can accommodate your request. We will work with you to make sure that your target institution’s specific requirements are met.

Example process (your target institution may be different)

  1. You contact us and let us know the target institution, and include your unofficial transcript in digital form
  2. We reply to you and tell you the cost for the translation
  3. You send us payment via paypal for the translation
  4. We start the translation right away based on the digital form of the transcript
  5. You order two official transcripts to be sent directly from your educational institution to our address
  6. We open one of the sealed transcripts, verify it matches the digital version, and certify the translation
  7. We seal up the translation and the unsealed transcript, sign the envelope, and send it directly to your target institution
  8. We e-mail you a copy of the translation for your records and as a confirmation of it being sent
    • Please note that the copy of the translation will not be usable in any official manner

Note that the process can be tweaked as the situation or institutions call for it.
